About me
Welcome, my name is Leah, and I am a Certified PTUK Play Therapist based in Newton Abbot, Devon.
I have three years’ experience practicing therapeutic play and play therapy with a range of clients, alongside my postgraduate studies and training.
Beyond my play therapy experience, I have seven years’ one to one enabling experience working long and short term with families and children who experience complex social, emotional and mental health difficulties alongside children who have special educational needs.
It is through my enabling role, degree and training where I have seen first-hand the importance and support that play provides young people. Seeing the benefits has fuelled my passion for spreading awareness and showcasing the power of play and sharing the benefits of play therapy not only for children now but future generations and society.
I have so many hopes and dreams to provide a well-rounded and needed service for our young people.
